今天繼續上一篇內容，上一篇我們說道老爹便秘了，家人替他身體擔憂，因此就提到了“john”，是指美國人口中的“廁所”，後面一直不見好，家人就帶他來到了醫院，故事開始了。
場景一：
醫生問老爹一些問題的時候，老爹說了一句：
Well。I usually don‘t keep track of that kind of thing。but。。。
我一般不記這種事情，但。。。
keep track of
track的意思是“足跡、蹤跡”等，keep track of，跟蹤某人的足跡，放在口語中就表示要“記錄，常和某人聯絡”，以此瞭解TA最新情況。
Freckle just makes you want to keep track of your time。
Freckle 只是確保你可以記錄自己的時間。
We need to keep track of her studay。
我們需要對她的學習進行記錄。
當醫生對老爹說，可以解開衣服讓他做進一步觀察時，提到了“undo”這個詞。
Okay，Mr。Hill，why don’t you hop on the table and undo the back of your gown？
好了，Hill先生，躺到床上來，解開病服。
undo一詞的用法很特殊，通常有兩種意思：
1、解開、開啟
If you undo something that is closed， tied， or held together， or if you undo the thing holding it， you loosen or remove the thing holding it。
I managed secretly to undo a corner of the parcel。
我設法偷偷地開啟包裹的一角。
The knot was fastened in such a way that it was impossible to undo。
那個結系死了，沒法解開。
2、撤銷、消除...的政策或影響
To undo something that has been done means to reverse its effect。
A heavy-handed approach from the police could undo that good impression。
警察的專制手段能使那個好印象化為烏有。
場景二：
如何治療老爹的病，建議為其其做艾灸

李先生讓你體驗艾灸。
moxibustion： a method of treatment， originally in Chinese medicine， in which a moxa is burned on the skin
艾灸是中國傳統中醫透過針灸或者煙燻艾葉的方式來治療疾病的。
裡面有個場景是衛生間的鏡子上面貼了一張小紙條，上面寫著：
No goal is too high if we climb with care and confidence。
字面意思是：只要我們小心自信地攀登，沒有什麼目標是太高的。
字幕組將其翻譯成：有志者事竟成，我們也可以理解為“世上無難事，只怕有心人”。
老爹在眾人面前很沮喪地說了一句：
I‘m sorry ，Peg。I let you down。
對不起Peg，讓你失望了。
後來Peg提到了一句：
We’re gonna make the most of it。
咱們要好好利用起來。
這裡的let someone down，意思是“使某某失望”。披頭士有首歌叫《Don‘t let me down》，就是別讓我失望。
Finally， I need to prepare for the Olympic math contest next year。 I can’t let someone down who always care me。
最後，我要為明年的奧林匹克數學競賽準備。我不能讓關心我的人失望。
而make the most of，意思則是“充分利用起來，十分重視”。
Happiness is the ability to make the most of what you have。
幸福就是充分享用你所擁有的一切的能力。
It‘s my first trip abroad so I’m going to make the most of it。
這是我第一次出國，我要充分利用這個機會。
場景三：
Peg再跟好友談話說提到了一個表達是：
Well，he‘s a shell of a man。
那他就是裝的。
a shell of a man本意是指某人空有外殼沒有靈魂，在動漫中則表示某人因遭受太多的痛苦，而失去自我了。口語中，我們更多地將其理解為“徒有其表”。
