看到底是不是動詞
5G時代來了，手機幾乎成了每個人的標配。無論是地鐵公交上，還是飯桌廁所裡，大家總是低頭看手機，隨處都是“低頭族
”
。
"看手機" 怎麼說？
大家都知道手機是phone，那“看手機”的“看”是用see、look還是watch呢？其實都不對！

為什麼用see、look和watch不對？
雖然see、look、watch都有“看”的意思，但是，它們各自的側重點不同。
see強調看的客觀結果，表示看沒看見。
如：
I saw you waving at me。
我看見你朝我揮手。
look強調看的行為，指主動有意識地“看”，
通常為不及物動詞，後面跟at或for。
如：
Look at the phone！ It has a foldable screen。
快看這手機，是個摺疊屏的！
watch相當於“觀看”，強調看事物的變化（動的）。
如：
You‘ve been watching TV for half an hour。
你已經看了半個小時電視了。
所以無論用see、look還是watch，它們都不是“看手機裡的內容”，而是看手機本身。
see the phone = 看到手機（本身）；
look the phone = 把目光轉移到手機上；
watch the phone是錯的，沒有這種說法。

可以說：
check the phone
check表示下意識地檢視手機訊息等
如：
Don’t check your phone at the dinner table。
別老在吃飯的時候看手機。
也可以說說：
look through the phone
look through表示檢視、翻閱的意思
如：
Don‘t look through my phone。
別翻我手機！
"低頭族" 怎麼說？
“低頭族”可不是lower head group！其實用一個單詞就可以翻譯出來，Macquarie Dictionary（麥考瑞詞典）杜撰出來的一個新詞——
phub
。
phub是一個合成詞，由 phone（手機）和 snub（冷落）構成，表示：專注手機而冷落（身邊的人）。
它的名詞形式為 phubbing，表示“低頭玩手機”的狀態。
而我們常說的“低頭族”，就是phubber。
例：
Don’t be such a phubber！
別老看手機（別做低頭族）。
