白露，是“二十四節氣”中的第15個節氣，秋季第3個節氣。這個詩意的名字來源於清晨天氣降溫時掛在樹葉和草葉上的露水，天氣也隨之變涼。
Today marks Bai Lu， or White Dew， the third solar term in the autumn season。
The poetic name comes from the dew that hangs on the tree leaves and grass blades in the early morning， as the weather cools down。
白露時節，正是中國各地大忙時節。東北、華北地區在秋收的同時，要做好種小麥的準備。
Bailu is also time for autumn harvest in northeast and north China and farmers need to get prepared for the winter wheat。
今年的白露時節正與中秋佳節相鄰。秋風漸起，圓月高懸，更加容易激發人思鄉的情緒。
Bailu is close to Mid-Autumn Festival this year。 The autumn wind is rising， and full moon hangs high， which stimulate homesickness。
南宋畫家夏圭的《松溪泛月圖》描繪了幾人月下泛舟遊湖的場景，圖中一輪圓月懸於天空，夜空明朗。湖中四人乘一小船暢遊，其中船首兩人一前一後，前面一人回首攀談，後方一人似在抬頭賞月；中間處應是一名童子，正在低頭忙碌，最後是一位船伕，划槳慢行。畫面近處是幾棵松樹，僅露出樹冠，在空曠的湖面的襯托下，意韻無限。
The painting Enjoying the Moon and Boating in a river rounded by Pine trees by Xia Gui， a painter in Southern Song Dynasty， depicts a scene that some people boating in the moon light。 There are several pine trees and only the crown exposes。 The whole scene is empty， yet reflects beauty of implication。
